CalDreams uses personal information to process donations, communicate program updates, provide academic support, transfer counseling, and career readiness services, and share impact reports. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Data security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Sensitive data, including payment details, is processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant systems.
Third-party services
We may share limited information with trusted service providers who support our operations (e.g., email platforms, payment processors). These providers are obligated to maintain confidentiality and use data solely for the services they deliver.
Your rights & choices
You can update your contact information, unsubscribe from communications, or request that we delete your personal data by reaching out to privacy@caldreams.org.
Children’s privacy
For program participants under 18, CalDreams obtains parent or guardian consent in accordance with federal and state laws. We collect only the information necessary to deliver services.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated periodically. We will post revisions with an updated effective date and notify stakeholders of significant changes.
